So are the new weights Dale sold you 54 or 55 grams base? What have you settled on for the amount of slug weight added?I emailed Dalton. said the difference was the base weight. mine were 55 instead of 54

Sorry...my total weight I believe is around 60 grams...never played with them a whole lot...once I got close to my top rpm i stopped messing around with them and drove..right now i hit 9200..then settles back to 9000..3/3 wrap..never got a chance to try 6/1...also got a dyno tuned map from a guy...wow does it work good with that...smooth as silk...no popping and instant throttle response...believe i have the largest slug and the smallest installed.. i put the largest in first..turned in 5 turns then put the smallest in tight flush..that gave me lighter tip weight to get my top rpm and the right heel weight to grab the belt down low

I believe they are 55 grams...they are dalton NX weights that came in a kit..said the base weight was a gram heavier then there normal weights...when I hot the sled the weight was full of slugs...he must of been lighter..I could probably run more weight with 6/1 wrap..seen 106mph in hard trails..not bad since it is a 144 with a 1:75 lugSorry...my total weight I believe is around 60 grams...never played with them a whole lot...once I got close to my top rpm i stopped messing around with them and drove..right now i hit 9200..then settles back to 9000..3/3 wrap..never got a chance to try 6/1...also got a dyno tuned map from a guy...wow does it work good with that...smooth as silk...no popping and instant throttle response...believe i have the largest slug and the smallest installed.. i put the largest in first..turned in 5 turns then put the smallest in tight flush..that gave me lighter tip weight to get my top rpm and the right heel weight to grab the belt down low

Thinking I should grab the 58 gram base weights. I’m spinning a lot less track, and am a fair bit lighter than you are. Have you compared the fuel tables in those PCV maps to see what’s different between each one? If I was you I’d have to know. There is a difference between the dyno map, ulmer and hurricane map. Hurricane map...hurricane map in my sled does alot of popping...not sure why..maybe to lean for me...ulmer I found alight..but that map is very conservative and I believe made for kn filters...I found my autotune map was better then those 2...the dyno map is the best of them all...ran it for 250 miles now...instant throttle, zero popping, very smooth...little harder on fuel then the other maps...I am hooking up a switch to go between the dyno map and a autotune map he has on there also...Thinking I should grab the 58 gram base weights.
