I find my Phazer GT darts considerably since putting on a better set of carbides (6" on a 1/2' bar). I have the ski shocks set on soft, the front skid shock set on 4 and the rear spring on med.
shim it. It's the cheap attempt at a fix and will likely work. I procrastinated doing mine but just did it and it works. I also feel the larger the bar then the more the dart. I use the ski savers and it made the sled dart worse from what I could tell.
Like your motto "You smell like a chainsaw" . I lately have resorted to calling "them" the "Chainsaw Gang". You know who "them is"!
The Phazer GT was the first Yamaha I've owned that didn't dart with the stock skis. All I did was throw some 4 inch woody's dual runners on and it's one of the best tracking sleds I've had.
I normally shim all my fronts but I didn't on this sled and with the way it's performed, I probably won't.
