I went out for my first ride today and seeing I have a bit of last years gas in the tank I figured I’d dial down from max17 (my default tune in my jukebox) to ecotrail and cruise around a bit to empty the tank. I stopped to check my phone and shut the sled down. I fired it up and took off and figured I’d give it a quick burst to see how low my rpms would be on ecotrail and to my surprise I pulled 8900 rpms. A quick glance at the dash showed the max17 280 tune.

Moral of my story is that when you change tunes via the dash it will always default back to whatever your default tune is in your jukebox upon restarting. I guess it works the same way as when you change tunes on the gap app but it just caught me by surprise.

Mine defaults back to previous tune. TD dash flash with multi tune bundle.

It will always go to the "default tune" chosen in the APP when sled is re-started.

What i find odd for me is.....I have the handlebar button(flash to pass) and also the cluster flash. If I change maps via handlebar button, it revolves like the APP does, but If i change maps via the cluster button, it does not revolve, it stops at 240 then goes back up to 270 to 290, then stops at 290 and goes back down to 270 to 240.

So basically it does two diff actions depending on which button i choose to change.

And my OCD brain does not like this! lol....Patrick knows I hate it but not sure GAP will change it..lol

Yes figured that out today as I was assuming it would hold whatever tune I had on the dash. A good FYI for everybody.

My dash flash toggles through from 250 to 275 to 280 to 290 to 300 then starts over at 250... If I have the app open it scrolls through as I hit the dash button. Weird that yours works differently.

I was talking about my handlebar button vs. cluster button. The app follows along as it should.

I have the dash flash but it stays on what one it is left on for me
That's what I meant for me too. I do not have a flasher, didn't want to spend the money since no real need with dash flash.

If I shut off the sled on the 270 tune it will restart on 270. Same with 280/290/etc.

The flash default is set in the flasher. That should be done when the flashes are loaded

Dave I just went to the garage and unplugged my flasher from the sled to see if things were different. So I would change the tune on the cluster and turn ignition off. Turn it back on and it would be on a different tune. I tried this a few times with the same result.

Start engine....

key on will remain, while engine start goes back to default.

Maybe with guys who have NO FLASHER, the cluster remains same? Im not sure the cluster uses the APP, since it cannot use BT.

Ok here's a video of mine, though I didn't video the 250hp when I set it to 250 and shut it off and restart it goes back to 250. Per video 275 does the same thing, 280 for some reason defaults up to 290??, 290 goes back to 290 and 300 goes back to 300.

Again I have TD Multi Map wih Dash Flash but no flasher hooked up.
