Kind folks,
I bought one of those Daytona temp guages (oblong box about 1" x 3") and the hose splice adapters in the group buy and am finally getting around to thinking about doing something with it.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do and I have two questions.
First, I have a 2004 Warrior.
Second, where and how have those who have bought these guages installed the guage. There does not seem to be a flat spot big enough on the instrument pod. Did you make a mount to give you the required space or ? I would appreciate any suggestions and a picture if you have one. I did a search but did not find anything. Maybe I missed it...
Third, the hose splice adapter suggests installing it between the engine ouput and the thermostat housing but there is simply not enough hose length to fit it in there. The easies place to me seems to be on the downstream side of the thermostat but I don't know if it is critical to get it on the side before the thermostat or if it can go anywhere.
Your suggestions would be appreciated and thanks much.

Installation info. I cut the hose and install it in between the thermostat housing and pipe going into the head. You can see pics & info all in the above link on Page 3.

Allen,
Thank you very much. I'll have to look again as first time I looked I did not think that there was enough room between the outlet and the thermostat housing. The Hose Adapter (the one that came with the kit) looks to be larger than the one in your pictures (longer). I'll check real close this time. Thanks for the info.

End to end length is exact same in picture as what is shipped in kits. The adapter will fit against water pipe going into head and thermostat housing with about 1/8" of spacing on each side.
