We had another death in Michigan. I think there has been 4 now. Hitting trees. I don't know how many were drinking.

I'm always sadden when I read things like this. I know first hand how quick things can happen from my accident last year. I'm thankful I wasn't drinking or things could have been different. Please remember to ride, then park the sled for the day and then enjoy the rest of the day.

X 2........Good advice Chester ;)!

A lot of Ice here this year so we had a recent death in Northern NH. He didn't make the turn.

For me and most those that I ride with, drinking and sledding go hand in hand. Having a few drinks and exercising some common sense will not kill you. JMO.

Our trails here are very icey, last time out almost got taken out in a corner because someone didn't use any common sense I guess it is just to hard to use the brake and think.

Or the brake! Although some times it is the "breaks" that cause the problems. LOL!

If this was the one in Twin Lakes. He was 70 and they said he was dead before he hit the tree.

The trail conditions in the UP are not that great either. Their are a couple of huge rollers that are complete ice. I hit one on trail 8 just outside of Munising that busted my W-arm in multiple places. The DNR was out the next day with a dozer so I am guessing some people have gotten hurt there. The pile of plastic and the scuff marks 6 feet up in the trees also indicate that there were some accidents.
