I hope your knee heals quickly. I had a complex tear in my meniscus over the summer training for a cross country 5k. I twisted it running up a rocky slope. I had arthoscopic surgery in August and its much Better but still not 100%. Im questioning as well if I'll be able to ride this year. I wouldn't rush the recovery though. Everybody heals differently, I thought because I'm a distance runner I would bounce back but it's been the opposite. Good luck!

Don't toss the season away till u talk to a surgeon. I had torn miniscus a few seasons ago and I was riding within 2 weeks. Walking without crutches in 3 days. I had laparoscopic surgery though.

MRI came back today, need ACL reconstruction. Dr was baffled I am not limping and really have no pain except if I step wrong. Not sure what to do with my Sled. He said it would be a 2 month minimum before I could ride depending on how it goes. Really bummed. See the surgeon on Thursday.

Sorry to hear that, you must be one tough dude. On the bright side, they can fix it and fairly easily. Years ago that would have bothered you for life. Best of luck!DeerHuntr said:MRI came back today, need ACL reconstruction. Dr was baffled I am not limping and really have no pain except if I step wrong. Not sure what to do with my Sled. Thinking I need a second opinion, doesn't even make sense. It's just really stiff and unstable feeling when I extend it with a little pain then. I worked all day yesterday and today on it and it almost seems like it's getting better . Was thinking today that I wasted my money on a MRI till they called me with the results.
