Picked up the attak last saturday, brought it in to the garage to start studding the track today. when I put it on the lift I noticed the track sagging about 1 3/4" in the middle of the hyfax. Is this a bit excessive? also noticed none of the grease fittings seemed to have any grease residue on them. Looks to me they diden't do much set up.

I know it only takes about two minutes to adj. the track, with one minute spent getting the tools, BUT I think the dealer should have done it to start with. Kida makes a guy wonder what else they they diden't bother to do.

I had some of my own issues with the dealer setup. One of my headlights wasn't working, as well as the throttle cable was way too tight. I wonder if these things are selling so good that the dealers are just not going over them good enough. It certainly is frustrating, but once you have it the way you want it...way cool!!!

I know what you mean, mine and my friends sled also were lacking grease. I caught it at the dealer though and made him do it..... Thats what pre check is for I guess.

Yes, that is too much. It should only be about an 1 inch. Too loose and it will ratchet. Too tight and you will go through hyfax much quicker.

There isn't a full proof mechanism for finding a good dealer. I have found that dealers holding the Yamaha 5 star service award tend to be a bit better.
