did anybody else get a Tow Strap from Yamaha?

I went to check the mail today and noticed a package from Yamaha. In the package was a nice 15' tow strap. At first I thought "This can't be good" then I noticed a Letter in the package also. The Letter was thanking me for my purchase of new 09' Phazer MTX AND explaining what the tow rope was for and how to properly tow OTHER manufactures sleds out of the woods. I got a kick out of it.

Now I can replace my old worn out "Arctic cat" brand tow strap which I purchased since I wanted their official tow strap for towing my buddies Cats all the time.

That is hilarious!!!!! Not that I need a tow strap, I'll still keep my eyes peeled for a freebie from Yamaha. :rules

Not yet - we'll see if something show's up. Did it look like a direct from Yammi thing or perhaps dealer related?

The address label was from Yamaha In wisconsin and the letter had a Yamaha letterhead. I'll see If I can get it to scan and put a copy of the letter up. It was from some promotion they had going on it said. I bought mine the last day of the Big rebates and 4year warranty deal.

The only issue is finding a place to STORE in on the phazer.

That's not a tow strap. It's fishing line for Arctic Cats.

Get yourself a small backpack (Klim, Camelbak) to carry gear. They're handy and all your stuff goes with you when you leave the sled.

I wonder if Poo, Doo or Arctic cat have the same sence of humor they could send out there customers a set of Yamaha handwarmers with a note saying atleast we give you handwarmers that work and not these things jk it would be funny though

Maybe we shouldn't all gloat too much - Yammies get towed too from time to time, maybe that's what the strap is for!
