Did i mess up here with these rivets?(pic)

hi all, sorry for the postings here, got my clutch weights in so i can install them tomorow on the 04 rx1 mountain. i am doing as u all know Sled dogs clutch setup for my elevation of 600m (1900ft)that has the specs for his mod as follows:
The Primary spring in my sled is a Y-S-Y and the weights are 8FA-17605-10-00 with both rivets installed.

Now,i have the 8fa-17605-10-00 weights with both inner and outer rivets part number 90261-06033-00

i was asked if i needed the inner/outer rivets with a hole in it and i didnt have a clue,as it wasnt specific in the mod page if the 17.2 steels had to have holes or just be solids. i got the weights and noticed they dont have holes, now is this an issue? i seen in the spec sheet (05 warrior) it calls for both inner outer 17.2 with the hole, but i dont think these are. i took a pic of my weights, the TOP 2 are mine and the bottom one looks like what i think might be one with the hole in that i found on the net,now do i have to take these to the dealer and get the inner/outer re riveted or will it be ok? what does the hole even do?

it lightens the tip for peak rpms. i would try them 1st as if it pulls 10200rpm, you will not need the hole.

If it said to use a 17. 2 grams that is the weight of the rivet it doesn't madder if it has hole in it or not it is the weight of the rivet that matter.

I agree if the weights are the same on all three arms and in the same position you should be good to go.

all 3 weights were loaded with 4.5s(90261-06033-00),im sure what, a half a gram hole in a 72.83 total weight would make it like what, 72.25 or something so i guess theres not much of a difference at all if they were holed or not. just was tryin to mimick the exact specs that worked seein i had the exact machine and it wasnt specific on if it had one or both rivets had the holes in them,so i thought id ask the people who knew.and the mod was to be setup like an 05 warrior clutch but i couldnt find if the rivets had holes in or not, i seen some specs with both rivets had holes and then one with the outer, so not 100 percent so again,thought id ask.thnx

The weight of each arm has to be exactly the same and the weights have to be in the same place. Is that what you have? Spinning at 9000 rpm if one is out just half a gram it is going to be unbalanced and noticeable I would think. Did you not get these from your dealer they should have no problems matching up to a 05 warrior arm weights specs?

ya know, i try not deal with regina for this reason, no one ever seems to understand what the heck ppl want unless its right there in front of them in huge lettering ORDER THIS PART!,lol
this has happened to numerous ppl that have been goign to reid leisure in regina where they have to guess because they cant find the information, it took 3 people searching for 2 days to find the 8fa-10 weight for one, and when i asked them to set it up like an o5 warrior they asked me if i knew the specs, i told them i didnt and would assume someone there at a yamaha dealer would have some information so the only thing i had to go by was guessing, got the spring/finally they found the weights, theyve never heard of 8fa-10s before only the 8fa-00s, and going by what you said in your mod page you have both inner and outer 17.2s so again being totally new to clutching i didnt realize the 17.2's/4.5 gram rivets come with and without holes, im lucky i even got the steel rivets and didnt pick them up with marshmellows installed in the weights,lol such a simple change yet i cant seem to have no luck with the proper rivets, and i understand how you said, your clutching is bang on and no need to take anythign apart so i wouldnt expect u to take your dam clutch apart over to see wich rivets have holes in them or not, but, ill try the weights il document before and after the change to see whats goin on if i need to re rivet or not, then just try find at least one dealer that knows what inner/outer stock rivets an 05 warrior has

Found the 05 warrior specs, they are 8FA-00 weights loaded with 17.2 inner(without the hole) and 17.2 outer (WITH the hole)
this Mtn flatland setup was said to use the 8fa-10s so the only thing i dont have is the outer hole in the rivet so should be good to roll

I got my three weights with rivets installed along witth the primary spring from Turk all I had to do was install them. This has turned out to be a real chore for you. I am sure it will be worth your while once its done.
