Did about 4 hours of clutch tuning yesterday. I was running 10 pounds boost & it was a good air day. Tried the silver/100 vs the white/60 twist comparison. Our test track is about 1000' long; perfectly flat & hard.
In 1000' I had better top speed with silver at 100 but et,s were better with white at 60. The white at 60 raised rpm,s about 200 with out doing no other changes to either clutch. I lost 4-5 mph in 1000' by using the white spring but sled was quicker in that length.
After secondary tuning I played with the primary. I gotta admit I got the 50/10 hammertimes with advant-edge helix to really outperform anything else I tried...especially in 660'.
I had to quit early...sled was starting to drop boost so I think I have an exhaust leak or cracked header.

I furgot..sled was running 10,300 rpm at wot with silver at 100. I saw 10,500-10,600 running white at 60.

I will agree in the mtns that the white sure does. But having said that I am now going to try the cat purple. People are having good luck with that one also.

Last year testing on the Asphalt:
Yami-Silver vs. the Yami-White vs. the Hauck-Red...
The Yami-White ET'd better, no secret to me... he, he...

I didn't know that there was this much debate on the yami secondary springs.
Only time i've seen the yami-white go bad on me is when i had it toooo tight...
