i found it never lost any top, the hole shot is good, but i still get pulled in the mid a bit by sleds i shouldnt. i am comparing mine to a stock attack i was running a few weeks back and he would leave the pack at mid to top end. I was doing the riding to so it isnt weight. i put a 23 in and put the white sec at 3 and 3. it set to transfer a littlke to much right now but is there anything else i should be lookin at? i realy just wanted this sled to be comparable to the attack on a groomed trail. Cant see why it wont be, would think it should do as good

Set the track tension to 1 7/8 - 2" of sag @20lbs of pull in the center of the track? Make sure your skis are aligned. The track makes a big difference from mid to top end.

Try putting the clutching back to stock, you would be suprised that even when they don't feel as fast, your really pulling alot harder.

are they hard to adjust centre to centre on the apex? only thing i changed on the clutch was a white secondary wrapped at 60

I'm running the 23 tooth with the white at 60. I'm going to run the white and pink back to back on the weekend against the clock as I'm getting mixed revues on this set up. Will post results.

that is where it was. 60 degrees. i put the pink back in now at 70 and i will try that. My transfer rod settings wer way past the max setting on the tool also, i set it bck to the middle. i wonder is the transfer rod setting being where it was would effect it

careful with those ROD settings..hearing more and more guys breaking rods,IMO these rods might get weaker as miles pile on these mono skids...hearing more and more breaking, and more then likely will happen easier if at MAX transfer...keep it middle I would say to be safer.

not pretty when they break!

rx whooper, you are not gonna get an attak out of the hole or mid range sorry i have an attak and bro has 06 rtx and he is always playing catch even last year when i was bone stock it was the same that 136 inch track hooks up and goes the only down side i have seen with the attak is if you race in 6&7inches of fresh snow then the attak sinks

RXwhopper, I was having the same problem with my RTX racing a friend on his slightly modded 03'RX1. I would kill him out of the hole only for him to actually catch and pass me in the mid range and stay a few sleds lengths away from me across a long lake run. I was only seeing 10,400 so I knew I needed more rpms. Per ulmer, I went back to pink secondary @ 6/1 and my rpms are up @ 10,600-700, but I don't like how it engages, so I may go back to silver secondary and drop a little tip wieght.
