You can beat on a nytro all day long and the subframe will be fine and then a random crack in a gas station parking lot or loading it on a trailer and catching the carbide on something and its bent. IMO a strait subframe should not be taken for granted. I'd rather spend money on mods than repairs. I still don't even know what bent my first subframe. 80 bucks for gussets instead of a 500+ dollar subframe... yes please

Ok, might be a dumb question, but where to get and what is "gussets"?? My GF just picked up a 12 XTX and I wonder if the "gusset" thing should be done to her sled as well...

Do a search for Ty member grizztracks... he is the man that has the gussets. He will help ya out.

I bent my 11 xtx subframe last year going 5 mph when my right ski got stopped by a snow bank

X2!!!!!!!! cheap insurance. 2hrs in the shop saves alot of grief on the trail
