I think the torsion springs were different too. And the sway bar was different.

Here are a few things that I remember from when we pre-ordered in 2006
2007 Phazer GT
1" Hacksaw track
Tall windshield
KYB HPG non-clicker shocks
Straight handlebars
Proactive Torsion Spring rear skid
Swaybar Standard
2007 Phazer FX
1" Ripsaw Track
Short Windshield
GYTR HPG Piggyback Clicker shocks
Hooked Handlebars
Proactive CK rear Skid
Swaybar Standard
2007 Phazer Standard
1" Hacksaw track
No Windshield included
Gas Cell Hydraulic shocks
No Reverse
Straight Handlebars
Proactive Torsion Spring rear skid
Swaybar Standard
Gearing as mentioned above and limiter strap and Swaybar setup were different, but could be changed.

What's the difference between the Proactive CK rear Skid and the Proactive Torsion Spring rear skid?
Also if the GT runs the 20 tooth gear is the top speed higher?

In theory it should be a little faster but I have had both a 18t and 20t in my GT and the top end is about the the same. The 18t accelerates quite a but quicker.

That's the suspension from the Nytro. Must be a typo or something.Ruggybuggy said:What's the difference between the Proactive CK rear Skid and the Proactive Torsion Spring rear skid?

The GT's sway bar is connected to the A-arms using plastic blocks and are adjustable. The FX uses end links and are non-adjustable.
I do believe that '08+, all Phazers have reverse.

Phazer FX still has the coupler block on the Sway bar. My 07 manual shows how you can move it to change stiffness.
Phazer standard has never come with reverse standard, but it was listed as an option on future years beyond 2008. 2009 was the first year Yamaha listed the option in the Phazer Standard Specs.
The Phazer FX's Proactive CK was replaced with the Dual Shock CK in the RTX in 2008 to the current model. This is according to the Yamaha-motor specifications online. I think it had more to do with naming after the issues the 2007 skid had.
