Hi all just got my apex er back from the dealer they cant seem to find my problem so i need some help .. my issue is when u cruise along around 40 to 60 klms something from underneath the hood goes dling dling dling ding ding sounds like iam riding a doo with the brake dics rattling ...lol i tryed takin all the panels off the belt guard even put a new belt on her hell still the same plzs help guys .......... thxs steve ..

i notice the same thing on mine. take your handle bars and jerk them one way then the other and see idf you hear the ding. i think thats where it comes from

Mine does the same ,I think it is in the steering knuckle joints.

Not to seem like Mr. Obvious but here are a few areas to look. Keys, how many do you have on your ring? If you have any type of key ring remove it and test. Second the front ski skaggs or carbides, check to make sure that all of the bolts are tight. I've had a high pitch rattleing noise come from this before, the washers rattle on the nuts. As far as under the hood, good luck, lots of goodies undere there just start checking brackets and nuts and bolts. Just remember if you turn it (loosen or tighten) you should remove it and use lock-tite.

that noise drives me nuts, i still haven't figured it out yet, sometimes it does it and other times it don't, has anyone pin pointed it?

ding ding noises
Well all just got back from the dealer again and this time we found that the bracket that holds the cooling fan on seems to be vibrating we installed a rivet in the top left hand corner of it it seems that they never installed a rivet there for some reason it seems to fix the ding ding noise but i havent tried it very far yett . just thought id share that with u all happy sledding guys .... thxs steve .
