i run a boss system and i keep having troubles with the trigger button not activating the solenoid. i checked my batteries for the button and they were kind of corroded so i am thinking thats the problem.but my question to you guys is... it should be safe to wire the trigger right to the battery with someting like an amp fuse in it or something right??? we just thought that should be a permenant fix for that. thanks for any input.

What kind of batteries does it use? If your system uses some kind of betteries, it is probably not 12 volt. If it is not 12 volt, then you cant just wire it to your sled battery. If it is, just wire it to your sled battery and get a 15 amp in-line fuse at an auto parts store. Wire it in-line with that fuse and you will be all set.

Boss systems are NOT 12 V. The problem is most likely batterys or connection

thanks for the feed back. it uses 8 AA batteries. i was just thinkin it would be better to elimate the corrosion factor.
