262 CC needs ~57-58mm offset
267 CC needs ~62-63 offset
Are these offset numbers same with both the 8JP and 8DN belt?

There are far more knowledgable guys on here than I am, but I asked my personal clutching guru (smart dude who no longer comes on TY) since I just assumed "yes" and here's his response.Are these offset numbers same with both the 8JP and 8DN belt?
Center to center for the 8DN is 266~267mm. Same offset will work just fine.
You can run the center to center closer with the 8DN but you should decrease your offset to around 56mm.

Why does offset need to be adjusted when center to center changes?
