Do You love your RX-1????

Hey guys, I won't go into detail how I came up with this but: Has anyone ever checked out a corvette convention or a super chevy show? I could be wrong but after looking at pictures and reading about the modifications we all have made to our RX-1's, wouldn't it be kinda cool to have a Nationwide sled show/gathering? A place to meet to check out each others RX-1's and what each other has done or not done to thier sleds. A RX-1 only ride and allow others to ride your sled and compare performances of the RX-1. Maybe even a bragging rights radar run also. A gathering of just RX-1's and thier owners, however this includes: shorty's, warriors, and mountians too.

After looking at the map of the guys on this forum I think where I live,Ohio, would be a great center location to meet. To f**king bad we dont get alot of snow here or have a great trail system. So here is my other suggestion. We could do a "west of Ohio" and a "east of Ohio"
gathering. Possibly Mr. Sled could to the west side show and Lazy bastard could do the east side show. Yes I want my canadian brothers in this too.

Yea, youse in North Bay are gettin hit real good with the white gold. I only suggested LB's area because I havent been to Bracebridge yet. My thought was some where that alot of Pa, NY, CT, boys could get to without a ton of driving........Cubby

The idea's a good one. Let me throw a little "sidelight" on it. Why don't you guys that are interested show up for the Munising (U.P. of MI) TotallYamaha ride-in whenever that is this year. Last years RX-1 participants included Mr SLed, NOS-PRO, jtssrx, Gilbey and the previous year grapeape. To any others that I omitted, SORRY !!!! You know, memory and old age......... a lethal combination

Oh yeah, I forgot Yamadoc and , of course, Buddah ....... OOPS!

Sounds like a great idea. I live near Owen Sound Ontario and would love to ride with a bunch of RX guys (mostly ski-doo's in my area). In my area we usually get a good amount of snow by late January and early February and the trails aren't to busy either. I'm only 1.5 hours from Barrie and think it would be a blast where ever you guys decided to do it!!

Well I think this is looking good. My plan for this is much like a TY ride but I wanted it to be mostly RX-1s. And I dont want to discriminate against the 2 smokes, but I was looking more towards just RX-1s.

I do feel the east side ride should be in Canada and somewhere in the area of Bracebridge, North Bay, or Quebec.

I have not heard from Mr. Sled about the west side ride but I think it should be somewhere up in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, UP area.

Again, I was reminded by my buddy impalapower that this is more of a TY ride than a "sled show" but I do feel a radar run would be fun to do.

So keep givin your input on this because the way it is shaping up with all of your input so far is an awesome RX-1 only TY ride for a weekend on either side of Ohio, but alot farther north.......................Cubby
