Dyno tests from 132 to 142. So 140hp is close enough. Yami claimed a 8hp increase with the Apex efi. So I guess they agreed with 142.
Yami claimed 145hp on the 03 or at least the area rep for Yamaha did when I looked at the new 03's.
Thing is that from motor to motor there is always a difference in hp. So depending on which they tested hp figures will change. Till a 4 stroke hit 1,000 miles or so I don't think it is at its peak anyway. I know mine sure loosened up over the first season.
So tight and new it might make 132hp, once broke in it will make more. The best dyno report I ever saw was 142.

143 HP dynoed by Simons CPR. Advertised power was 139.9 HP or 103.0 KW. Some sleds dynoed higher and some lower as expected.
