Its been a long 8 years with my Phazer, and I truly appreciate all the help from this great website, but I am officially moving on the another sled, that hopefully will require less maintenance and fixes.

I traded her for a 2016 Bearcat 3000. 700cc 4 stroke, 146 track and 10 inch skis.
Most of my riding was done getting to hunting and fishing spots and the Phazer required a long track and wider skis from the beginning. But I loved the 4 stroke for its torque and reliability.

I had 2 other contenders : Indy Voyageur but the lack of 4 stroke pushed me away from it.
Expedition 600 or 900 ace but the price was much above the Bearcat.

If someone is close to Ottawa and wants a Phazer windshield or an Original cover, send me a pm, I will let them go for dirt cheap.

Good luck on your new sled and hope it works out well for you!! Stop back often. We are always here :D

That's too bad about all the issues you had. Last fall I bought a 2015 Skidoo Renegade Adrenaline 900 ACE thinking it would be my main sled. Nope. I much prefer to ride the Phazer. But mine has been rock solid - knock on wood.

I see yours is also a 2007, keep your fingers crossed that it stays together.

Here is a short list of the items that made my Phazer a horrible choice : Loose in steering from day one, relay blocks freezing, starter bolts backing off, loose in A arms, broken skid arms, rattling rivets, blown exhaust donuts, falling side panels clips, high idle revs... and the list goes on.

Although it was the most fun sled I ever rode, I was getting tired of replacing parts that should not fail that easily on a 4600kms sled.

8000 trouble free kms so far. I did install UpBushman's steering fix and replace the fuel relay with solid state. But that is all.

That's too bad, I also did the steering fix last year but no snow so I couldn't ride it to try it out. I'm sure it will be a big improvement.

Throwing mine down the trail was the best for me and it, we were both out of our misery although I still live with a tweeked back.
Did just about every fix on the sloppy steering, 2 broken W brackets (1 upgraded), A-arm/ ball joints, ski bushings ETC.

Started over putting money into a Nytro after that, now have 2 of them LOL.
It never ends.....

Well the Phazer is gone and the extra parts also. A fellow member just picked up the Cover, Windshields, bracket and sway bar.

I still have A-arms and Spindles if someone local is interested. (pick up only)

I have some new Bearcat parts ready for pick-up at Rockland Wheels! Once installed I will post pictures of the Phazer replacement.

Like Porkchop said : It never ends.....

Was out for the first snow of the season this morning.
Did not get much riding, but it felt good!

This thing is super quiet, almost too quiet, but down low it has similar torque to the Phazer.
As we get more snow I will be able to test further.
So far my daughter loves it!
