We all know this has been beaten to death for a topic, and it is an issue with the Apex line, but I have a question that I have not seen asked on here. I just had to replace my doughnuts at 2400 miles on a 2006 Apex GT. Popping started around 2200 miles. I was wondering at what odometer reading you replaced your doughnuts, or at what point you knew they were going? I hear some people getting a lot more out of them then others. Don't know if those differences are particular years or what? The dealer thought it was my after market headers not being as tight of a fit as the stock ones. Think there is a little BS there, but either way. Not a gripe, just interested to see. Guess I would rather replace a set of doughnuts then pistons on a Doo LOL
When did you guys notice the issue?
