drag racing tether / advice

ive decided to asphalt drag my apex and need to wire in a tether, has anyone done this on there apex? any other advice would br appreciated ive never even been to a drag strip till today and watched all the other snowmobiles and there wasnt a yamaha in the bunch. its bracket racing so i should do pretty good i hope

Follow the wires from the handle bars down into the rubber boot underneath the dash panel. Inside the rubber boot is a black connector with a brown & brown/white wires. You want to cut either wire and wire your normally closed tether switch one wire to one side of the cut wire and the other wire from the tether switch to the other side of the cut wire.
