You'll need to get a socket type allen wrench. Go to Sears or something, and get a decent brand. This helps, just don't strip it. 6mm I believe. Once you remove it the first time it's not as bad, the factory really gets it on there.
I think there is about a quart maybe a little less that sits in the bottom of the engine. If you just can't get it out, well probably not the end of the world. Maybe just change the oil more often.

I remember the first time it was pretty hard to get it started.

Exactly what he said. The allen socket is the key, regular allen wrenches will kill your hand.

Use a 6mm Allen wrench socket together with 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter and a 1/2 inch power bar(or ratchet). It is tight the first time(22 ft lbs) and you have to bring out the heavy equipment. The regular cheaper L shaped Allen wrench is usually too soft and stretches or strips.

3.8L total, with nearly 3 L in the tank = almost 1L inside the crankcase (oilpan)
Technically there is no oilpan as this is a dry sump oiling system.
Also, go to the ty search section or tech section to view threads on oil changes, this is great for any pics you might want to see.

Or use the closed end of a wrench in a pinch. I have done this many times without bending the allen wrech.

I remeber my first oil change when I had my Apex.. I had to heat it up with a small torch then used and ice cube... and snap it came loose..
