Just curious if any body has ever done this: Drilling holes in your Hyfax that would in turn capture and hold snow, there by getting better life and slicker Hyfax

Hey Bob, yes I have done this before and it does work well. It is pretty tedious but if you have a drill press makes for easy work. Make sure you don't go through the other side and I would do a 3, 2 pattern.

Sorry but the spaces don't show but you get the idea. Hey, did you get that CD?

Yes Bob. Viper34 is correct. Just make sure you keep your Snowmobile on the SNOW... :p :p

Just kidding Viper...

I tried it with no luck. If the slider gets hot and melts a bit they soon close up. Every time I needed to change my sliders, it was always due to melting for about 6 inches at the front of skid around the idler wheels. Maybe I should stay off the roads...lol

I also have drilled my sliders, what I liked was to be able to look at the ware inside the slider not just at the outside edge. I found that the sliders will ware to a point then stabilize. Like the 1st half wore fast and the 2nd half wore slow.

Thank you all for your feedback :D You all are great  RX WONDER I just received the CD yesterday and I want to thank you VERY MUCH 8)
That was really good of you !
John I have a question that you may be able to help me with, I put the CD into the computer and I'm not sure why it won't come up  I'm a novice with computers (Still Learning) and need a little help here.

Thanks again 8)
Bob

Nothing really "comes up" It is simply a bunch of files on the CD.

Windows I presume.

Double Click : My Computer
Double Click the CD Drive (has a small picture of a CD)
And you should see the contents of the CD.
Double Click on the various Files/Folders etc.

If FOR some reason you cannot open the files it is because you cannot read the PDF files which are in ADOBE PDF (Portable Document Format)

No Problem you simply need Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be found here.

Send me an email & let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks John, I'll try it when I get home today
