Hey guys, I found a crack in my primary clutch today. Can I repair this or do I need a whole new clutch? 1200$ CAD at the dealer. Give me your 2 cents.
Thank you.

Here’s the picture. You can see the pin is almost out. I was able to limp back to the truck but the whole clutch wasn’t working normally.

This is why they went cast iron on that spider.
Is there a CVTech available?

$597 from babbits.
the spider is not available seperately....

Thank you all! I ordered the primary sheave assembly from Yamaha. Same as mentioned by Stain. Although my sled will be fixed, I still want to fix the old clutch assembly. I only need the “spider” which is not available separately. If someone can find one, please advise!

Stain: if you can find the spider itself alone, that would be great! I already order the 591.74$ part you mentioned. That’s the whole assembly plug and play.
Thanks again!
