How do you remove thee things? What i have done so far is take off the chain case and the bottom gear and the speedo bearing cover. I can slide it out the secondary clutch side, but the bearing gets in the way to pull it out towards the chain case side. Is there a special way I need to take off that bearing? This is almost the last step for me to put on a new track, just have to take off the tunnel protectors.

Did you remove the two set screws from the bearing race on the speedo side?

They are on the belt side bearing housing inside the tunnel. There are 2 set screws that you'll need to remove
They are listed as part #7 in the parts diagram for a 07 Apex RTX, listed under TRACK DRIVE 1

they hold the bearing to the shaft, usally are a torx drive and on the inside of tunnel. loosen them and pry the bearing off with a big screwer.

Yeah I hate these little screws, I lost the one for the oil seal for the chain case somewhere in my garage...so pissed.
