This is an extrovert question, I am using Wahl bros. racing cogs.
The main problem is that I cannot get one side in and have enough clearance for the other side so I am wondering if the company I had to them did it wrong.
Anyone know the distance from the speedo bearing side to the first drive cog?
Then the distance from the first one to the second one?
Finally the final distance from the second god to the chain case side is?

Clutch end of shaft to the center of the driver is 4.5" and the chaincase end of the shaft to the center of the driver is 6.5" and the overall distance between the drivers is approximately 8.875" (center of driver to center of driver).

Those are the dimensions I have on mine. I must be putting it in wrong.
The problem I have is when I put the clutch side in first the other side of the shaft (chain case side) hits the tunnel. This is me trying it without a track and just trying the fitment. It would be way worse trying it with the tunnel for the first fitment.

You have to put it into the chaincase side first, then the clutch side.

To take the drivers out don't you pull the drivers towards the clutch and then when it is out of the chain case you take it out of the clutch side? I couldn't fit the shaft into the bearing of the chain case. I have taken my drivers out before to change my track out but I didn't have this problem before. You have to put it into the chaincase side first, then the clutch side.
I have looked all over you tube and all the videos suck.Winderallday!

When I remove drive axle, I completely remove the entire chain case off the machine, this give sufficient room to put the shaft through the larger clearance hole in the tunnel instead of trying to line up shaft into the chain case bearing.

i was hoping i didn't have to do this since I don't have a big enough wrench to fit the top gear nut. If i remember it is a 36mm?When I remove drive axle, I completely remove the entire chain case off the machine, this give sufficient room to put the shaft through the larger clearance hole in the tunnel instead of trying to line up shaft into the chain case bearing.

If you've removed and replaced the drive axle without removing chain case before, it is possible that where the Wahl drivers are positioned on the shaft now may prevent your from re-assembly the way you used to.
For the 36mm nut, a 12" adjustable or crescent wrench will almost open to 36mm, so what I did was remove the lower jaw and machine about 1mm or so off the jaw face so it would fit the nut. I suppose in a pinch you could grind either jaw until if fits over the nut.
Cheers!

Must remove chaincase! It will not go in without the chaincase removed.
