Not that any off you guys need anymore ideas, but i wanted to share what I built tonight.
A Drive on, drive off sled dolly. I have a fresh asphalt driveway and I don't want it marked up. I cant take credit for coming up with it, but i copied and made a few changes. I think I might add a few more wheels. I have 10 now and they are rated for 90 lbs each. The long piece (under track is 86" for the 141" track) and the cross piece is 48".
I have a 3.0 track so i spaced the traction boards 12" apart.
I also made them just a tad taller then the lugs.
It climbs up pretty easy.
I also added a strap to the front so when you drive it off the track will land on the strap and stop the cart from shooting out behind it.

That's awesome.
We made this same type of dolly's back in the late 70's-early 80's. I will see if I can't find some pics.

I built one a couple years ago. Works great, nice job.
Awesome! I need to do this. Do you guys think swivel wheels are necessary for track part? Could make a roller full width pretty easy. I like the strap idea! I shot a dolly out couple years ago that took till spring to find!

Very nice dolly! And that's quite a windscreen you have there.

If you want to be able to spin it 360° you would need swivel wheels.

Great job silverram323 on the build with wood, I've been building a similar dollies out of steel for close 20 years and the drive on drive off are just so easy use in the garage or out in the drive way if you have concrete or pavement. Some of you may have noticed it in my pictures of my Sidewinder. I like the wood idea as it is light which makes it easy to store or haul to a different location. The next ones I build will be out of aluminum. Not that any off you guys need anymore ideas, but i wanted to share what I built tonight.

Here is some updated pictures I think it's a little overboard with the wheels but I like it.

I'm not sure on your track length but the shorter skids would be about 82 inches for the longboard. Thanks for the ideas!! My garahe floors are taking a #*$&@ kicking!!!

build them so your track makes contact with the dolly first before your ski's make contact, that way your sled is able to climb onto the dolly with out it rolling away on you. also the shorter you can make it the smaller the circle you can spin the dolly around when its loaded with a sledThanks for the ideas!!
