Glad it fixed but two days of penetrating fluid dremel and chisel as compared to 6 to 8 hours to pull the shaft and reassemble! Seems like you took the hard way. But alls well that ends well!

A hour or two or pondering vs ripping apart the chain case and all the goodies along with it. Just hit it a few times after work until I got home early the one day with some "steam" left. No steam or adequate shop space for a big job like that.

Not that big of a job and the bearing in the chain case may bring you an early summer. Penny smart and pound foolish.
