im going to look at a 2009 nytro se today the sled has over 4000 miles but looks mint in the photos, any suggestions on what to look for ?
anything problematic?
any reason i should stay away from a sled with this mileage?
im in need of a turn key reliable sled and im hoping this is it.
thanks for any help in advance, the sled has some extras like skis, cover, bag, upgraded hand grips 2010, and its a substantial aking price thats pretty firm i just want to make sure i dont miss anything .
thanks again!
p.s. still has coverage through yamaha this winter, can i buy any protection for a used sled once the extended coverage is up?

I'm doin the same today but for one with 300 miles lol... Um I try to keep a sled under 3000 miles but I put on like 2000 a year so ya. Um just check arms that their not bent, check subframe, cracks in the skid, check bearings, make sure everything works. Um the sled will go well over 13000 miles with only the usual error codes. Ask how it was ridden and unless something is broken u really can't get screwed. If there is stuff broken I will have parts if u need any.

Make sure that the shocks are centered in the a arms. If they are not start looking it over real close. My sled the shock was not centered on the right side ended up straightening the subframe over the summer. And replacing the lower right a arm. The motor will probably out last the rest of the sled if properly maintained. Other than oil changes every year the next major service will be to adjust the valves at I think 16000 or 25000 miles have 2 check manual 4 sure. Just take your time and dont rush and try to look at it in a well lit shop or outside in the sun.

There are some really good deals on new non currents. Might be a good option.
