DTR dynos another Tcat

Today Billy Howard's production 40 mile Tcat on 93 octane ethanol produced 205.3@8800. With a preproduction stainless muffler it produced 230.4@8900!!!

The preproduction muffler apparently increased the recorded boost also. It went from 10.3 on the stock muffler to 11.7 on the preproduction muffler.

pretty simple ,it's a muffler that they're not finished with to sell as a production model .

I am surprised that this is confusing anyone but i will try to help clarify.
In order for any Company to sell a production part, there must first be a preproduction part that is designed fabricated and tested. Once the preproduction part proves itself for proper fit and performance the plans can be released for production models.
So what you are reading is a production sidewinder was dynotested stock and then retested with a preproduction exhaust/muffler..
That dont mean that the finished product muffler will give you that much hp.
They are simply showing you what might be possible for production models

Evo,stated stock boost on the sidewinder was 9lbs why did billies t-cat make 10.3 stock,that would exsplain why the cats are getting 200 plus hp if there ecu is set at 10.3lb boost stock,and SW is 9lbs.
