Dual Pipe

If you look closely, you can tell that this pipe is just 2 supertrapp slip-ons. I would call it a great waste of money. Buy the Skins or the Excell if you want a good pipe.

Lets do the math: Exhaust 3hp for $900
Turbo 60hp for $5000

I think it does look nice but, come on are you kidding me?

Yup do the math...
Lets say roughly 7000 for the sled(80hp) so we paid $87.50 per/HP

$300 per/hp for this pipe.. ;)

Turbo = about $84 per/hp

Target exhaust pipe should be around $90 per/hp ;)

Supertrapp lists each of those slip ons for about 230,(but they are cheaper
elsewhere) the "engineering" to build the mid pipes is what they are
charging for really. If you have a good shop, you can do it for cheaper,
but most don't have access.

I think the twin pipes is a waste, and who needs that extra
weight even if it saves a reported 7 lbs

I just ordered the whole kit from hauck for $1200. you get 9-12 hp increase. At 12 thats $100 per hp, sounds right to me. The pipes are supertrapp outer casings with haucks own perfferated core. I'll let you all know how it is in about a week.

Seriously - That system looks even better in person. And the sound is AWESOME. If it didn't cost so much, I'd buy it just for the smile it puts on my face with that perfect Braaaaaap sound. Throatier than stock, but not overly loud. When that sled started - heads turned, jaws dropped, and grown men drooled.
I saw the system on a FX in Hurley a coupe weeks ago, and stopped by Hauck's in Rice Lake, WI last weekend. They had a mountain lite siting outside set up with the full git-r-done package. They started it up and ran it around - sounded perfect.
He mentioned that the same system, with a single muffler was $400, even though its listed as $499 on the web site. Worth checking out.
They have a test track out behind the shop - probably a quarter mile total length, including shut-down area. What I was told on the performance difference with the git-r-done kit: Compared to the stock Phaser, they were getting a 10 to 12 sled length advantage before having to hit the brakes on the Phazer with the git-r-done kit. Now maybe there's some "sales exageration" in the story, but at even half that (a 5 to 6 sled lead) in around one-eigth mile is pretty impressive. As ststed above, they are supertrapp cans, but don't use the disk internals. They have a local fabrication shop build their own internals, and the midpipe(s).

Yup, I agree that Supertrapp's are the way to go on this sled.

Mine sounds just wicked with 8 disks, and if it's too loud, 6 allen screws, go back to 4 disks, and it's just about stock sounding. saves 10#s' either way.

I also think dual is a waste (not just on a sled, on anything really)

I am not a huge fan of the style of Supertrapp's that Hauck used, I prefer the Superlight canister style that I used. But to each his own I guess, my system was 770$ USD cheaper than Hauck's so, it's hard to really compare them anyways.

I got mine for a steal, cause it was a leftover from a FZR600...

Thing is that this one has a stainless midpipe, and 2 Tband clamps that fit the Phazer PERFECTLY. haha.

That part # is :

825-40600

Find another one of them, and you're set. Theres a couple for a CBR6 on ebay right now for 165$, but you'll need a custom mid pipe.

It looks wicked now, after 300 miles, it turned a nice goldish, blue, kinda colour.
