As I was changing the oil, I dropped the drain plug from the oil tank reservoir into the used oil drain bucket!! When I picked the drain bolt out it had no gasket so I emptied the used oil & still did not find one. The engine drain has one & the chaincase drain has one as well. My question is, " does the oil tank res have a gasket?!"
I am going back to the garage to change slidders then come back to see if there is an answer as I don't want to put oil back in if I need to get a gasket!! lol Easy job gone bad!! hahahaha!

It should have a copper washer on it.

Ok thanks!!! I looked everywhere & can't find it. Maybe the dude I bought the sled from might have lost it.
Oh well, finish oil change another day! Unfortunatly I might have to order the bolt & washer.

Check on the oil pan, it my have gotten wedged in the drain hole, if not there buy one from your local dealer as you will need this brass washer

Ya I check the bottom of the pan & sifted the used oil & did not come up with anything.
I am starting to recollect that the last time I changed the oil I didn't remember seeing a gasket then..... hmm, never the less, will have to get one.
Thanks again everyone, you saved me from filling the oil just to drain it again because after contacting the dealer tomorrow they would have told me the same thing!! lol

Nope, not stuck to tank. My whole night didn't go so well, the yamaha slidders I bought "SMA-8F-1192-00-hHR are 2 1/2" shorter than the ones I cut to the edge of the rail70superbee said:Mine sticks to the tank and sometime it falls in and sometimes is does not.
