Will having DuPont sliders (hyfax) with the non fully clipped track cause any damage to either the track at the non clipped sections or the duponts themselves ?

No. I don't run a viper but ran duponts for 10k on my Nytro's (not fully clipped) track with no issues. They stand up very well. They are well worth the extra money on the nytro and it used to eat sliders. Also, as the vespel wear bars grind down you get a very accurate idea how much hyfax is left during their lifespan. MS
