Earlier this year, someone was nice enough to post a link for Dzus fasteners available in different colors.

http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.ACCT40184/sc.14/.f

I want to replace the "button head" style currently used around the tank area with "dhandle" styles similar to what holds on the side panels. My question is, does anyone know which length to order? Ones that fit fairings 5 -7 mm thick or ones for 3 - 5 mm?? Any ideas??? Thanks!

Them look pretty kool. Kind of pricy though. It would look kool to replace all the clamps with red ones. ( For the rtx ) Damn it, just when I thought I had everything I wanted. LOL

Yeah but after spending $10,000 on a sled, what is another
$5.73 X 6 or X 8?

Dont get too hooked on Titanium bolts though,
set your limit at $200 and walk away from the table :drink:
can a fastener be viewed as a work of art? He11 yeah, these are!

Been too busy to pick up my sled, though its been in for awhile.
Couple more weeks and I'll have it. Should be very easy to tell you once I get a chance to do a measurement.. The guy at racebolts is real helpful, email or phone, if you can give him a measurement of what you have, then he'd be able to spec the right ones.

sometimes its pricey to look good!!!!

Yes it is. lol. I'm sure I'll have a few of them. The more I think about, I will buy more stuff and the price won't really matter. Like it was said, after spending 10 grand for a sled, what's few more bucks. lol

i just went out and took some measurements, im just not sure what to measure

Overall length, shank lenth, and width might be a bonus too.
That might be all you need. Is it a 2 milemeter differance on those?
If so you have to be accurate to the 1/16th of an inch :D

i got 20.9mm on overall length,17.5mm on shank length, 6mm on shank diameter, but it says something about the fairing thickness on the website, and i dont think any of these measurements would determine what fastener to use

OK good measurements sound like you are using a dial caliper or something, good. Id give a call, the info you have is prolly going to do it.

Soon you will be able to post up part numbers for us ;)!
