Any have any idea why that hand screw is even there? Cat used it in prior years but to my knowledge none of the 2014 cats have it. I know the 7000 doesn't have it. First thing I did was take that screw right off cuz in no way is it even necessary and it just makes for a pain trying to even get it to thread in.

Great idea. Have you got the lengths of the dzus screws used?

I actually just went to the dealer and asked for the fasteners, I assume they are the same length as the ones in the belly pan for the console. I will look on the bag for a part number.

My 2014 M8 has the hand screw on clutch panel side, as does our 2014 Viper
