I’m a big guy and need to stiffen my suspension on my 137 ltx-dx. Shitty shocks and springs on it. Anyone have any ideas that won’t break the bank ?

4 sided torsion spring adjusters might do the trick. Yamaha sells them and I believe BOP has some too. $60-$75
I put a 160lb spring on my front track shock suggested by Cannondale and it works wonders as well. $50

Ok. Yeah I’ve seen the 4 sided adjuster. I got bigger front spring blocks already but will try those as well. As long as the springs can handle it. And where did you get the 160lb spring?

I did the stiffer spring and Elka shocks. At least the stiffer spring is the minimum investment I think

How much was the Elka Suspension. Just the back shocks or all the way around?

Yikes...They sure don't give that stuff away. Do you have to be Johnny snowcrosser to appreciate the set-up, or does it provide a lazy boy recliner experience down the trail? I've got the RR/LE shocks and think those are awesome, can't imagine how much better you can get. JmhoSprings, stage 3 up front And stage 4 in middle and back. Around 4 k including tax and installation
