Well guys winter is just starting to arrive full force here in Alaska and I am eagerly looking forward to my first ride. Presently I am offshore and my RX-1 is sittin in the garage with all the mods and work from this fall waiting to be ridin. Before I left I put Freddies ECP kit on my sled and am really lookin forward to seeing the new improvements when I get back... Last year I put the glasspack exhaust on, and for awhile was tenative to go with the ECP kit after reading some of the post on here... but went ahead anyway, having faith that it is possible. I currently have the 165 jets in, with 170's standing by in case. I am having the carbs syncs as soon as I get home and having the clutch aligned at the same time.
If anyone has gone down this road ahead of me, and can give some insightful input for tuning the sled I would really appreciate it! Clip positions, jetting, etc. I ride at sea level to about 4000 ft. Temps range from 5-30 F, usually staying around 10-15. Anyhow guys, lookin forward to any input. Hope the riding goes well for everyone!

If you are referring to a single glass pack exhaust, I would open the pilot fuel screws to 1.75 to 2.0 turn open and raise the needles 1 clip position by moving the clip down. If you referring to a dual exhaust, I would just set the pilot fuel screws to the above settings.

Thanks Freddie... I'll give it a try once I get home and get her running, its nice to have an idea of where to start. One question I have is: what is the clip postion you're talking about. I'm not sure what setting my clips are at, I'll have to check, but one clip down might not be from the stock setting on my sled. Anyhow, thanks again!

That would be the needle clip position on the needles. If it has never been adjusted, it should be in the third position down from the top. Move the clip to the fourth position from the top.
