My son's '09 had the classic no fuel pump issue after being parked outside for a few days. We had already replaced the relay with the new solid state one and was running fine before. Took stuff apart and power was not getting to the pump. Checked the 10A fuel pump fuse, it was blown. Replaced it, still no dice and the display was now giving a code 43 (ECU not seeing voltage). Checked relays and fuses, all good. Then, I swapped the ECU with a spare one from an '07 and it worked. Tried the original again, dead.
I haven't seen anyone reporting an ECU failure before. Anybody else have this happen to them? This one was an 8GC-20.

It is not very common at all. Maybe check to see if any of the pins in the bad ECU is corroded or missing?

Yep, checked all that, all good. Anything is possible as uncommon as it may be. I put it in a warm place to try and see if moisture got in and it dries out. Anyway, getting Ruggy's spare and it's an updated one.

Either way, I need it since it should have the updated one regardless.
