looking to buy a stock ECU for 2018 Yamaha Sidewinder. Anyone sell these?

I bet you could get one through your local Yamaha dealer.......:dunno:

Is there something wrong with the one you have?

No I had it reflashed and just found out the sled has 3 years left on warranty!

You want this moved into Wanted area? Also if you are looking for ECUs, make sure you get the correct model, LTX, RTX, XTX, MTX, the speedo calibration can be different.

No I guess I’m just going to build this sled. Was thinking about putting a stock ecu in it and selling it. People love the warranty! I picked up the sled cheap and was told it didn’t have warranty but after calling dealership and finding out it still had 3 years left on warranty! They said it did have a recall too! The reflection stickers up front!! LMAO!!! I just hate seeing a warranty like that go to waste. O well I’m not that guy that builds things up then blows it and puts it back to stock then try to warranty it! Karma! Just received all my things for max 17 285hp from TD can’t wait to ride!!! Thanks for the info guys! Ride on!!

I highly doubt they will still warranty a sled with a reflashed ecu. That usually voids warranty.

It should only void issues related to the extra boost

sleds can always be flashed back to stock, if you did that after a failure well that's your choice save the money on the new ecu

If you have a good dealer...the warranty shouldn’t be a problem at all..short of blowing the motor everything else should be covered if you have a warranty whether your flashed or not.

A lot of dealers still work with you, even if it is flashed,in fact both dealers I deal with flash sidewinders, and stand behind them.
