I just picked up a 09 RTX/SE at the end of march so I havent ridden it yet but I am reading posts abt adding heat exchangers. Is there a inherent problem with these Nytros gettin 2 hot?

Check the coolant. Alot of dealers are putting pure antifreeze in them instead of a 50/50 mix. Pure antifreeze doesn't dispurse heat as well. I had to drain mine and dilute it. No problems since
Mine gets hot in the spring, while low snow conditions or when i am pulling a sled at slow speed.
I take the hood of either put it on the sled (after the snowmobile to carry load, dont know the english word) or strap it to the bagpac (spelling?)
I think the hood is too closed up, not enough air comming to the radiator, with hood of no problem.
I`ve seen pictures of mountain sleds with holes cut open in the back of the hood too increase the circulation of air.

I'm adding vents for additional underhood cooling. My Nytro is certainly better than my Vector was regarding overheating. I only experienced overheating during milder temps and hard trail conditions.
Certainly look into the strength of the coolant and cut it down so that freeze protection is good to -40 degrees. You'll be amazed at how strong the coolant strength is stock, through the roof...better for freeze protection, poorer for cooling.
You can also add some "Water Wetter" to the coolant to improve cooling too. It's a product available at most automotive stores.

Yeah.,,, just adding some vent here....why add an exchanger, for low snow condition sill going to be no snow hitting the exchanger

Even without any snow hitting the exchanger it will help greatly. You need surface area for cooling and adding the exchanger will add alot of surface area and increase the capacity of the cooling system is another plus.
