When I slow down, and make a hard corner or turn around to go back the direction I came from, my Nytro sounds like it's running on 2 cylinders, instead of all three. If I hit the throttle quick and let off, it goes away. I am thinking it has something to do with the engine braking reduction. It's like its staying on until the engine hits a certain RPM, then shuts off. My question is, is there something wrong with it? Are other people experiencing the same thing and this is just normal? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Good to know. I was just hoping I wasn't having a problem with mine. Thanks.

im not experiencing it.... but then again all i can do is run mine on the stand......Mother nature is being a little cruel this year #$%&*

It sounds to me that you are engaging the T.O.R.S. Adjust your throttle cable play or reroute your cables. A good way to check is start the sled and turn the handlebars full lock and see if you can get it to reoccur.

Its the same this year as last year, and this year i have the oft relocator in, so my throttle cable goes behind my handlebars now. I think it will even do it if i dont even turn. That i will have to check again.

EBR system we are living with and really isn't a real problem.
But yes as LeeKo said TORS is something to look at more closely.

something is wrong with the sled FOR SURE.mine or my buddies doesnt do this.weird problem i havent heard of anybody on here having this problem.it has to be something to do with the tors.let us know if you figure it out.

I had the tors code come on once last year, and it was also followed up with a code 42 (?) or something. It was insufficient voltage to the fuel system. After that, it never did it again. Now to adjust the throttle cable, what do I have to do there? is it adjusted so when I start moving the throttle, the throttle bodies are opening as well? or should the cable have a slight amount of play in it?

I was thinking the same thing, if the tors was acting up, I would think the code would flash and the check engine light would come on.

Ya you need play in the cable, if I remember right the manuel says four to five millimeters,i checked mine the other knight and it seemed ok,i haven't adjusted the cable at all and its a 09xtx

TORS test and setting from my 08 manual.
