Engine problem with 05 RS Vector

I have an 05 Rs Vector ER with 1400 Mi and had a problem yesterday. Was working fine saterday all day. Went for a drive yesterday and Warning light came on at first, then tempature icon pop up on trip meter along side with engine icon. Engine started to misfire/backfire. Also number 81 or 86 came on the display?? When you start and heat up it run fine but after it heat up it starts acting up. Anyone had simalar problem or can anyone help?

Have you had all the updates done to your sled? (including CDI)

My machine silver identical as picture. I bought used and not sure if all updates have been done. What do you mean wit CDI

Sounds like the TORS issue rears it's ugly head again.

it is defintily the TORS, my sled did the same thing, i just looped it out, now no more problem.

Can you confirm if its actually getting hot or not? sounds like two issues, HOT = low coolant, leak, etc and then TORS kicking in on its own. There was a recall on the 05 vectors to fix this. My dad got into so much trouble on his when that acted up, finally got a new CDi and it fixed it all under warranty.
