Engine temp question

True enough. I was running in deep powder last week and mine started to miss. I assumed I was getting powder into my intake and kept riding thinking it would clear up. It finally got so bad it would hardly run. That's when I finally noticed the alert light and the pegged temp gage. I had been thru this before on my Nytro so I rolled the sled on it's side and looked at my heat exchanger. Sure enough there was an ice dam between the track and the exchanger. I busted out the ice, let the motor cool down and have been riding with no issues ever since.

Wow I would love to have that problem, because it means DEEP SNOW!!!

72-78 mostly but sometimes it creeps up to 85-90ish but drops quickly. Even in the same snow conditions. Could be the ice daming on the exchanger.

Was on the west coast a couple weeks ago. Was ok for a ride then but they have lots since then. Supposed to be really good going up in the hills now!!
Taylors brook/ gorge area.
