Hi guys. Basic newbie here....frequent lurker...as I ride a sled from the "other side" LOL

The Phazer has my interest, but admittedly, I am not that well versed with them. but I am continuing to read all the good info on the site here.

You guys think it would be reasonably possible to transplant a different engine in a Phazer for a few more horses??? I was thinking of the Genesis 120....or maybe oven more radical with a two stroker 800. I know a major problem would be fitting the pipe for a two stroker......

I am a auto mechanic by trader....and do all my own work on my two sleds (is there any other way LOL).

Is there a little room between the side panels for a little bigger engine??

just throwing this out there for any comments from the guys in the know

thanks

I don't know there is barely enough room for the engine
that is already in there. I suppose if someone was couragous enough they could try and do anything..

I wonder how much potential is in the engine itself
with say head/cam/piston and cylinder work...
I wonder if you could squeeze 110 HP out of it reliably
with that kind of work.

Uhhh blue the motor is tucked into this frame like you wouldn't believe, you can't actually see it with the panels off. All the front plastic is the airbox.

Yes it would be tough. But if you take tank off and look to the right of cylinder there is alot of room for another cylinder.

Thanks guys. I gotta line on a 07 with 0 miles that had the engine and wiring removed. Just thinking of a summer project.

I will do some more reading here...and some more searching of the net.

cheers

Is that the college project that is for sale on ebay? Complete chassis and no engine? Just curious.

Its too bad the pipes are such a issue a SRX motor would be awesome in there!
