ESTA-ProSled Shootout Info/Schedule for TY-ers

Guys,
I know that there is another thread on the 'Lounge' area, but wanted to move it here because it is Racin'.

Here is a schedule that I'm proposing:
Friday: (This is optional)
Test for $12 at New York International Raceway Park (IHRA) in Leicester, NY. Here is there website: http://www.nyirp.com/
For all the guys coming from the Midwest this track is on the way to Syracuse and makes for a great last stop before Saturdays testing/qualifying for the quick 16 on Saturday/racing on Sunday. I'll be at the track when the gates open... (GATES OPEN: 5:30 pm Time Trial & Test from 6 pm to 10 pm*!! *Test till 11 pm if over 100 cars...)

Friday-PM: From NYIRP leave for Syracuse, NY, check into the hotel, and then head up to Coopers for the ESTA-ProSled Shootout Party... Last year Matt, Tyler and myself had a good time and meet a lot of people/racers.

Saturday-Test-n-Tune for bracket racing and Qualifying for the Quick 16 event (I’ll be turning up the boost this year and hope to make the show)
Sunday-ProSled Shootout. ** fyi. You do not have to test/run on Saturday if you are only running the bracket-racing event. You must qualify on Saturday if you are trying to get into the Quick-16 event… **

Hotel Stuff:
Last year we stayed in the Carrier Circle Area in East Syracuse, NY. This is about 15min from the track and Coopers and there is a lot of hotels in that area. Go to www.expedia.com for hotels in the area.
If you are going please start booking a hotel room soon, and then post where you are staying. We can all organize from there…

Just made my reservation at Hampton Inn-Carrier Circle, East Syracuse, NY. Checking in Friday July 8th and Checking out on Sunday July 10th

Any hotel in the Carrier Circle are will do... all the hotels are in the same area...

ok guys... I wanted to start some dialog on who is doing what...

So the question(s) are:
1. Who will be going to NYIRP Friday night (7/8/05) for a test-n-tune for $12
2. Where are staying (Hotel)
3. Are you going both days Saturday (test-n-tune), Sunday Racing, or just showing up to say hello and watch some racing...

We should plan on meeting somewhere Saturday morning. That way we'll arrive at the track at the same time and be close in the pits.

Mike, we are planning on coming to run on Friday, myself and Ken (Ski-Doo from last year)

Be at ESTA both days, and staying at the comfort inn, or quality inn.
