EVO Upgrade Kit for Factory MPI Vipers are coming soon
Evolution Powersports has developed an upgrade kit for the OEM MPI Viper Turbo Kits.
Our kit is designed to upgrade the boost from stock levels for the factory kit to 9 lbs (true) of boost at any elevation. The kit includes a set of (3) 550cc direct replacement, plug and play fuel injectors, a boost T for adjusting boost pressure (electronic boost control is optional) and an ECU Reflash which changes the timing to a more boost friendly curve, raises the rev limit to 9800 and corrects the fueling for the additional boost. This kit is 91 Octane safe.
The basic kit with will have a retail price of $1199.00 and is a dyno verified 35 horsepower gain over the OEM kit. Also, this kit is EXTREMELY easy to install - it can be done in less than 30 minutes whereas fuel pump upgrades are very difficult and time consuming on the Viper. The larger injectors are capable of supplying enough fuel for 260+ hp with the stock fuel pump and regulator.
The kit will be easily upgrade able as we plan to develop a Stage 2 with 250 horsepower for next season which will consist of an air to air intercooler and more boost.
Eric at the Racin Station and a few other select dealers will be testing the kit within a week or so.
Dynos and videos of the dyno and field testing will be posted soon.

Any updates?
No Video but here are my dyno sheets! 1st one is my 14 with carrillo rods, Wiseco low comp pistons at 9 & 12 #'s of boost the 2nd is my 15 with the turbo and all the upgrades taken out of the 14 and installed in the 15 with stock motor with EVO flash, NO SHIM and turbo at 7 #'s on pump gas & 10.5#'s of boost on race gas. The 15 is making more HP at 7 than the 14 did at 9 and more than 6 more hp at 10.5 #'s than the 14 did at 12#'s. The sled starts with 1 spin of the motor whether hot or cold and moving the rev limiter up has eliminated the track spin at launch from banging the limiter. The throttle response is so quick that now I can spin the 1.6" track exiting a turn to bring the back around if I want with a flip of the throttle even with the taller gearing I am running.Let's see some dyno vids For a Monday pick me up

I've been watching your review of the flash with all the MPI upgrades and am consideing copying your set up for next year. I was more interested in their claim that you can safely run 9 psi with their injectors, no intercooler and no fuel pump upgrade. Would be a cheap and easy way to get a lot more power if it proves reliable. Well after losing the motor on the 14, 3 yrs ago, and eating $7000 to rebuild I like to err on the side of caution. I have seen those claims and everything I was told from day 1 was the pump can not produce enough fuel for those kinds of boost #'s but I am no GENIUS !!!! I am running the 3 stock injectors with a 4th in the intercooler and the upgraded fuel pump. I also almost all of the time mix 50/50 race gas even when running at 7#'s and wince when the boost gauge sometimes hits 8. I have not even run this sled at 10.5 #'s yet because the sled build ran late and the season sucked for snow. I finally have a hair over 750 miles on the sled and am doing my oil change tomorrow but am leaving for Jamaica on Monday til Saturday and praying there is more snow coming to the UP when I get back or maybe a run to Yellowstone.
I will tell you that I don't think that I would want to trail the sled at 10.5 because now anytime I get into the throttle the front end comes up and the back end will sweep in the corners even with 144 studs and the hygear coupling linkage in the rear end.
The season was terrible for drag racing almost all were canceled but 2 weeks ago at ST Germain the sled was only beaten by 3 sled lengths (2 times) at the pump gas shoot out running 7#'s of boost against some Monster Bikeman 1100 turbos that they claimed were over 300 hp and geared way lower than mine at 3/4 track I was running them down and gaining speed they were out of gear. And even though the rules say stock suspension height the ones I lost to were 4" lower than mine in the seat and the shocks were much shorter.
With the stock motor and EVO flash it is way peppier on the low end and now I can throw the sled into the turn, dump the front for bite and then power hard to bring the back around losing no distance to my buddies riding Pro S 800's. I leave them bad between corners and lose nothing going through them!

I agree with you! I've been reading up, researching, etc for this kind of stuff. I know over time the sled will have a bunch of goodies but for next season it would be fun to bump it up a tiny bit more!

I wouldn't pull the trigger on their setup unless I saw multiple people beat on it for a season on pump gas with no issues. It just looks intriguing to be able to get to 9 lbs at 1/3 the price. Mixing gas isn't an option for me. I don't want to carry race fuel with me everywhere and I do overnight trips sometimes.Well after losing the motor on the 14, 3 yrs ago, and eating $7000 to rebuild I like to err on the side of caution. Are you running the stock race can or the quiet insert? How loud is it? Looking to at least free up my set up and get a little more sound out of it.

Just for the record the fuel pump itself is no longer changed when doing the fuel pump upgrade , just the regulator.
