updates
I was home sick and thought I would update some of my changes to this sled. This sled has been a work in progress and I am always tweaking. I finally tried a pair 9 inch stud boy dual runners with the CA XTX skis, this was a really nice improvement. Better tracking and easier steering effort, but still plenty of bite to ride aggressive. I pulled the limiters up one notch to take some pressure off the hifax. I have always fought with balancing the heavy steering of this sled. I also added a between the lines ice scratcher. This combination appears to have greatly improved the hifax wear and I am very happy with the handling.
The clutch weights were nipping the belly pan so I cut up a old vmax skid plate to reinforce the flex, I later added a schmidt bros clutch guard for the wet foot deal. It has improved, but still gets a little wet. I duct taped the belly pan this year. I run some form of Iso-vibes on 3 of my sleds, I never hear guys talk about them, they are real nice. I added a star suspension pullrod for added strength and a little bling.
I have been running sled starts headlights for a few seasons...nice improvement. I used an apex bar pad because it looks better. I added rox tunnel grips in the foot wells to level out the grip from the gytr reinforcements. I felt like I was on my toes. I also cut out part of the belly pan around the footwell to open them up.
The Ohlins shock setup continues to impress me, but they seem hard to get these days. The added tunnel supports I made, really firm the running boards up with combo of Gytr fish-bones. With the skinz bumper and cutout I get far less snow build up too. I hope Yamaha figures this out with there new sleds...ever other sled manufacturer has.

Sweet sled! I just installed the zbroz on my sled tonight. Can't wait to ride it and test it out.
