Excessive wear on hyfax

I noticed excessive wear on the DuPont slides at the front right at the bend. They are good everywhere else but here but will still need to be replaced! Would installing a smaller wheel here help? will that small wheel be able to handle all the wear that it will be taking off of the slides? What are others doing about the excessive wear in that area?

Bigger wheels like excel X Wheels help tremendously, not a big fan of those small wheels. They tend to fly off with the high rpm they spin

When I installed the hyfax saver kit ( small wheels ) it just changed the wear point higher up on the bend .
So I just installed larger wheels for Schmidt bros

I have Polaris wheels one my sled.... (135mm OD or 5.35" OD) and they work great
