Good luck has struck again. Started hearing a concerning rattle coming from the exhaust. Originally, I thought a spring came loose. Well, pulled the panel and the exhaust has what looked like a 3 inch scratch in the middle of the can. This isn't on a weld, but dead center. Put a little pressure next to it and, sure enough, there is a crack. This is a BMP ceramic coated can. Has anyone used J.B. exhaust weld successfully? If I can get a week out of a temporary repair I'll be happy. Season is too short to sit on the sideline waiting for a new can to arrive.

Might be better to rivet in a patch all the way around to get through the season. I will say I’ve never tried to Jb weld a muffler but just a idea

I dont know if this helps but as far as waiting on a new can, i ordered a Straightline Performance one on Tuesday last week and had it by Friday.
