If the exhaust is unbolted from the motor, does the gasket need to be replaced?

I just did mine and I reused the old gasket. But I made sure not to damage the old one in the proses.

Thanx. I loosened one to get 1 stubborn copper donut on. It was bothering the hell out of me. i feel better now...

Most quality engines come with metal gaskets and if careful most can be reused if they are in good shape, always reused mine on the Nytro and GP1300R.
Metal gaskets with a rubber sealing edge I recommend replacing.
